and I figured I'd do it for no reason other than just doing it.

The ten things about me:
1- My dad taught me how to fish when I was two and I've been addicted to the sport my entire life.
2- I really enjoy the sciences such as zoology, biology, paleontology, ecology, psychology, and medical terminology almost more than I enjoy art.
3- I don't really like candy. Chocolate is okay every now and then, and stuff like cake and pie is pretty good, but in general I just don't enjoy sweet things very much.
4- I am short (no, really?). I am barely under 5 feet tall and I will not grow anymore. This is funny because while both of my parents are kinda short I have very very tall cousins on my dad's side. I guess I just got the short end of the genetic stick! Haha...ha... I'm not very funny.
5- I draw anthropomorphic art and make fursuits but I don't really consider myself to be a Furry. At least I will only call myself a Furry at conventions or when I'm just dinking around with my furends.
6- I like to try and convey emotion in my art mostly through expression and composition, although I'm not always sure it shows through exactly how I'd like it to.
7- I'm a cartoon and animation junkie. I just can't get enough of it!
8- I'm also a Tolkien geek who has read a good many of his books (not all of them quite yet though) and who is nerdy enough to write lame fanfictions about it.
9- I can be a pretty dark person. I've got a bit of a cynical, twisted sense of humor and I really dislike super cutsey, over-the-top happy things. I've been accused of being goth and emo more than once.
10- I have a tendancy to take things too personally and get too emotionally worked up. I recognize that this is a character flaw of mine and I am trying to amend it.
The ten questions from :
1-Have you ever found yourself more enthralled by fiction than by reality? Very much so. Reality can be so boring and dull. I like to lose myself in a good book or movie quite often just to escape from the hum-drum of life.
2-Do you have a favorite movie? Oh yes, my favorite movie(s) are the Lord of the Rings (bet you all saw that coming).
3-A favorite book? Again, the Lord of the Rings, the Fellowship of the Ring in particular is my all-time favorite, and I also really love the Hobbit.
4-If you were an animal, which creature do you think you'd be? A wolf of course! I have loved wolves ever since I was about 3, and it was not just because of the movie Balto. From the time I was a child I made it a point to learn as much as I could about wolves. I had always had and loved dogs, but I felt akin to the wolf's wild and free nature since I personally have a very strong affinity for the mountains and other wild places.
5-What is your favorite art style? I like the majority of them, but I do tend to lean more towards digital art in preference.
6-Which time of day is the best for you to make art? Nighttime is when I get my best inspiration or right at sunset. This is unfortunate because I share a room with my little sister and have to go to bed when she does. I've lost a lot of really good ideas that way.
7-Did you ever experience any paranormal or out of the ordinary event? If so, tell me about it... Oh, you have no idea! I've always been a bit sensitive to those kinds of things; when I was 5 I would hear voices until one day I told them to shut up. Since I am not schizophrenic in any way I believe that the voices were probably just spirits that would hang around my family. Now-a-days I seem to be especially sensitive to animal spirits and have had several encounters with my deceased dog and one with another family's deceased dog. Other than that my family constantly sees shadows and sometimes hears the occasional whisper. It sounds a little crazy, but I'm very certain that it's just the spirits of my family that like to check in on us every now and again.
8-What do you like the most on a fictional character? Believability and a way to connect emotionally with said character. I really like to relate myself to characters when I can, and I figure it makes the entire reading experience more enthralling.
9-Have you ever found beauty where others didn't see it? If yes, explain... I have on many occasions. For example (because I have a migraine and can't think of a better instance); once at the zoo with my high school treble choir I was going around saying that just about everything was gorgeous or cute, such as the bats, komodo dragon, and lions (well of course lions are beautiful!) my group thought I was nuts and told me that I was weird. That's not a very good example, but I'm too tired to think of a better one.
10-What is happiness, in your own words?... I do not know. I'd say it would be being with those you love and being loved in turn, knowing that you will all be safe and happy.
Odd questions, I know...bear with me, I'm like that!
My Ten QuestionsNope! I really don't feel like it right now!
And I'm not tagging anyone either! HA!</i>
